With Khaos, William decides to extend the researche of shapes and textures started with the Sweet Thing collection by creating massive and sculptural objects. With these designs, he states his will to create unique and impressive pieces, aligned with the Collectible Design spirit. The name Khaos has its roots in the greek mythology : it was used to describe the primary state of the the Universe, before the birth of the Earth. According to the greek poet Hésiode, Chaos was a confused and shapeless mass, a raw material with inert weight. A sinkhole without direction which brought to life the Earth and its Gods. In this genesis, William sees a parallel with the creative process within each artist : A primary and mysterious material, crooked and fertile which enables them to birth luminous ideas. Khaos is a radical and experimental project, each piece is limited 12 editions made of cast bronze. Special finishes can be made on order.
