Bottle Ceramic Sculpture by Catherine Dix
The bottles have a primary beauty, vaguely anthropomorphic and clear structure.
Catherine Dix works instinctively, engaging the shapes, changing them from one place to another and then beginning again with others, gradually achieving a balance. The tube is a recurring element in her sculptures and objects. She works with grog stoneware for its raw and rustic look and uses an electric kiln and fire at 1280 C°
