The Pretziada Knife takes inspiration from an ancient model that was certainly first produced with a fixed blade. The Sulcitana knife, named after the island's southern region, is a tribute to simplicity. The handle is composed of aged, reclaimed wood from indigenous plants (for example, juniper, wild pear, olive or myrtle).
Sergio Frongia, a local artisan, handcrafted the Pretziada Knife. The Steel blade is hand-forged, the handle is hand-cut and sanded, and the brass hinges are all hand-shaped.
