HORS SÉRIE — Small Side Table. Hors série is the reinterpretation of the small, solid wood stool found in all the courtyards in Ouagadougou. A tray is drawn in the sand then a wooden foot model is driven down four times to a greater or lesser depth, eventually making the mould for a new table at the aluminium foundry workshop. The aluminium is cast, and the magic happens. Each table is distinctive, even though they are mass-produced.
