In Greek mythology, Mnemosyne was the goddess of remembrance but also the mother of all Muses (poetry, music...), by seating on the Mnemosyne’s Chair, people were able to remember their previous life. What the designer wanted to remind you and explore through this chair, was the Human foundation that used to lie under crafted furniture pieces for centuries, and question their relevance, presence, and appeal in today’s contemporary Design.
