The name Strata comes from one layer being folded onto itself. It’s a simple and bold movement that balances the inner force of upholstery with the exterior force of gravity. A balance between two forces; an internal tension and a relaxed yielding to gravity resulting in a shape that could be the objectification of relaxation itself, inviting you to do the same.
