Cháfer creates this new design with the need to merge two essential elements of his work: sculptures and burnt wood tables. With the premise of creating a unique piece that unites art and design, Cháfer starts with the burnt wood tables he makes, then casts them in bronze.
From this casting, the sculptor achieves a groundbreaking result, where all the textures of the burnt wood can be observed while also offering the tactile pleasure of a metal as powerful as bronze.
As the table's base, Cháfer explores the possibilities of his sculptures as central supports and chooses to incorporate one of the pieces from his latest collection, "Pieles." A bold mass that supports the table and adds movement through its curves and tensions.
The table is a piece made entirely of bronze.
