The Meander High Tower is a tall grey modular cabinet, an outcome of ongoing research that started from the system ‘Coil’ in which round elastic rope is connected to a stable material, resulting in screens from parallel stretched strings. Meander allows the creation of semi-transparent screens with multiple variations by using flat elastic bands with different widths and playing with interspacing.
Outdoor, as architectural screens packing structures or dividing space, or in the basement, as room dividing screens, Meander fits in any setting. The possibilities are endless!
Meander won a Henry van de Velde AWARD 2021 in the category Habitat.
