A unique wall lamp from the Storm Series, a series which is a clear example of process design, wherein the designer seeks to set creative parameters to allow an object to shape itself without any additional involvement. This project strives to create forms through storm winds. Johannes Hemann creates storm boxes, in which he releases storms from high-pressure air. The process begins with the material at a standstill at the bottom of the box, followed by a storm when the air enters the box and the transfer of energy from the wind to the material. The wind pauses - the form is complete, and the silence of the storm has descended. The shape is then evident as a result of the storm energy. Each item is unique, as each generated storm takes on new expressions.
