The Pale Yellow Twirl Bowl is part of a series of sculptural bowls made by experimenting traditional technique of running cornice. The traditional method of running cornice has been used for centuries to embellish interiors and exteriors with plaster ornaments. This technique traditionally used to make ornaments has now become old-fashioned.
By using the process to create contemporary objects, the technique will gain new worth and will no longer become lost in obsolescence. The bowls are made reversible using a hollow mould and replacing the traditional plaster with alpha crystalline gypsum.
All pieces are handcrafted and, therefore, unique. Handle with care and love. Clean the object with a soft, damp cloth.
