The crystalline Vase series explores simple geometric shapes and proportions. To achieve the cleanest and purest shape for glaze application, the vases are first modelled in plaster, then cast in a casting mould, and last slip-cast in porcelain. The idea is to highlight the vibrant burst of crystals without going overboard.
