The Fair For 21st-Century Design &nbsp;COLLECTIBLE is a one of a kind platform for the showcase and discovery of the best in collectible design today.&nbsp;BOON_ROOM is thrilled to announce its participation in this year’s COLLECTIBLE fair in Brussels, a pioneering platform dedicated to contemporary collectible design. Showcasing unique pieces, bespoke commissions, and limited editions, COLLECTIBLE brings together leading galleries, studios, and independent makers, pushing creative boundaries through curated projects and collaborations. Focused on high-quality, functional works, the fair highlights the latest currents in design, favouring premieres and recent productions.&nbsp;This year , BOON_ROOM will unveil a hand-picked selection of contemporary art and designs from new talents like Léa Colombo, Mokko, TIPSTUDIO to some returning creators Kutarq Studio, Manu Bañó, Elke Sada, Claymoon and Jakub Kubica. &nbsp;The showcase will also include BOON_EDITIONS, featuring timeless, collectible furniture by esteemed designers including Stefano Giacomello and Tom Hancocks. <h4 style="margin-left:0px;text-align:center;">FRENCH EDITION DESIGN LABEL</h4>13Desserts is a multidisciplinary label dedicated to the creation, production and promotion of design pieces., founded in 2019 by Clément ROUGELOT and Kevin DOLCI. It is a hybrid of a design label and a gallery, based between Paris and Hyères Les Palmiers in the South of France.&nbsp;They bring together a unique selection of designers specializing in traditional savoir-fair and working with high-quality materials and experienced artisans. Also showcasing the work of rising designers and established artists through exhibits and collections issued in small or limited editions since 2020. They all have a similar aesthetic: the French Riviera. Via collaborations with designers and artisans, their vision and practices push them to design and promote bold, innovative creations. 13Desserts strive to explore new avenues of production and respond to a need for sustainable consumption. They also place a high value to respect 100% French production.&nbsp;

A-N-D is a decorative luminaire design studio and manufacturer based in Vancouver, Canada where original collections are conceptualized, built and assembled in-house. &nbsp;A-N-D investigates new design possibilities using innovative production methods while integrating the most current technologies in lighting. <h3 style="text-align:center;">About the Co-founders</h3>&nbsp;LUKAS PEET&nbsp;Lukas Peet practices his craft with sophistication and fluidity that bears the mark of a Design Academy Eindhoven alumni. He has been recognized internationally in a number of awards and competitions, most notably for the Winner of Canada’s Emerging Designer Award. His designs have been produced by international manufacturers such as Roll &amp; Hill. To A-N-D, Lukas brings a vast curiosity about objects, processes, materials and production techniques; he brings a desire to challenge the familiar and the normative, and everything in between.Series for A-N-D: Button, Orbit, Pebble, Pivot, Slab, Spotlight Volumes, Column, Lobe&nbsp;CAINE HEINTZMAN&nbsp;Caine Heintzman is a designer exploring various mediums as he applies rigorous material research, technical know-how, and a comprehensive understanding of lighting technology to an artful practice. His training at ECUAD and Kunsthochschule Berlin Weissensee has allowed him to hone a methodical process in which he interrogates the relationship between functional art object and space to design in a way that accentuates the built environment. Where his craft is sculptural, emphasizing modularity, forms can be seen in repetition to demonstrate an industrial elegance signature to his approach.Series for A-N-D: Pipeline, Vale, Vine, Iris&nbsp;MATT DAVIS&nbsp;Matt Davis brings a clarity of vision and collaborative spirit that transforms the people and ideas around him. To A-N-D, he contributes over a decade of experience in senior business management in the realm of lighting. His passion for responsible, timeless design is paralleled by a strong sense of leadership and entrepreneurial acumen.&nbsp;

ANDlight has established itself as a brand with substance since its start in 2014, with an authentic approach to the design process, production, and business practices. Offering appealing products that are timeless in form and functionality, sophisticated in aesthetics, and have a deft touch of whimsy. <h2 style="text-align:center;">A2Studio</h2>&nbsp;Bilal Salmi and Jerome Dieu, hailing from diverse creative backgrounds, fused their expertise to establish A2Studio. This experimental hub based in Brussels - Belgium, blurs the lines between Art and Design, showcasing a unique aesthetic born from their shared passion for refined craftsmanship.&nbsp;Their collaboration merges Bilal's background in Fashion as a Creative Windows Dresser with Jerome's experience in Creative Design for the digital industry. With several years' experience in the creative world, their eye has been sharpened, and today they sculpt and craft objects together, infusing them with artistic sensibility and professional expertise. Employing mixed lightweight materials and varied techniques, they explore shapes and volumes, achieving a delicate balance between sculptural containment and bodily intimacy. Their creations, inspired by nature, animals, and bodies, evoke a universe characterized by both order and chaos. Driven by a relentless pursuit of innovation, Bilal and Jerome's curiosity extends to realms such as Arts, architecture, and photography fueling their works.&nbsp;Bilal Salmi&nbsp;&nbsp;Born in Belgium. Bilal worked frantically for many years in the fashion industry as a creative at Ralph Lauren Benelux and as a window designer, notably for the Giorgio Armani Group, staging luxury products. Over time, he felt a natural need to return to simplicity and the slowness of expressing himself visually, artistically, and always manually through more personal projects in sculpture. Bilal imagines and creates objects and sculptures, by working delicately on their shapes and forms.&nbsp;Jerome Dieu&nbsp;&nbsp;Born in Belgium. Trained as a User Interface and User Experience Designer, and working in the digital industry for nearly 15 years. His passion for digital has given him the opportunity to work for a number of agencies and organizations in Brussels, London, and Antwerp. Craftsman from an early age, and passionate about materials and their technical processing, Jerome works on the research and development of innovative techniques (materials, techniques exploration, etc.) and meticulous craftsmanship.

Javed's artwork places itself between practical and sculptural, emphasizing the form and natural state of the clay. All of the objects are handcrafted using pinch, coil, and slab techniques. Each object is painstakingly created with a range of clays to give each object life.

<h2 style="text-align:center;">AHU</h2>&nbsp;Based in London and Istanbul, female-founded design studio Ahu creates contemporary collectible furniture and objects inspired by the traditions and mysticism of Asia Minor. Each limited edition piece is hand made in Istanbul by master craftsmen in historic, specialised ateliers, blending the best local artisanship with innovative production technologies. Founded by longtime friends and Central Saint Martins alumni Eda Akaltun and Mevce Çıracı, their respective backgrounds in visual arts and product design are tied together in their ability to refine culture and craftsmanship to create pieces that tell a story. Their work combines unique marbling paintings made by hand with contemporary furniture design, which seamlessly merges utility and luxury.&nbsp;&nbsp;The duo create collections that imbue spaces with symbols of luck and talismans of good fortune. Each piece is a functional work of art, designed to showcase the room in which it is placed. The first collection is inspired by ikram, the Turkish tradition of offering guests boundless hospitality. The visual starting point for the whole collection is nazar, the evil eye, and comprises cabinets, coffee tables, side tables and objects. Ahu’s unique creations are made to order.&nbsp;

<h3 style="margin-left:0px;text-align:center;">Design Process</h3>&nbsp;Ahu combines 25 years of international experience in product design and visual arts to appreciate and honour the storied culture and traditions of its heritage, breathing new life into pieces that offer a contemporary view of what Turkish design can be. Istanbul’s rich history of craftsmanship is celebrated in each piece which is made in third generation small workshops scattered around the city. Eda and Mevce navigate this complex network and work within a language of artisanship that is not only relevant to the place of Ahu’s origin, but also respectful of the longevity of the pieces. Mixing traditional woodworking techniques, luxurious durable materials and modern finishes, they strive to make timeless and exquisite pieces that can become modern heirlooms.&nbsp;

The studio aims to create an atmospheric quality within a refined architectural design language. The designs are modest, timeless, and minimal, with a warm and solemn aesthetic created by a blend of rich, natural materials. Craftsmanship and sustainability are closely intertwined and form the basis of their projects. The work emanates a certain serenity, owing to the monochrome and timeless signature, combined with a touch of subtle luxury.

<h3 style="text-align:center;">&nbsp;</h3><h3 style="text-align:center;">YOMA COLLECTION</h3>&nbsp;Yoma is an exclusive console, especially created for fashion designer Esaú Yori. It is a limited edition of 20 pieces worldwide. Handmade in Belgium by local craftsmanship. The elegant curves represented in fashion design, are reinterpreted in an abstract way. Soft lines are used to create a balanced and honest design, resulting in a monolithic centrepiece. By standard there are two double cupboards with pivoting doors, as well a drawer unit in the middle with one internal drawer. All accessible from one side. The body is completely crafted out of European oak and bleached to create a consistent ambiance with the travertine countertop and plinth. Rough, yet tactile brushed and sandblasted finishes of the surfaces result in a deeper emotion by the owner of the unique piece. Extra authentic details are created by wooden craft connections and visible bronze pivots.&nbsp;

<h3 style="text-align:center;">&nbsp;</h3><h3 style="text-align:center;">RIFT</h3>&nbsp;The Rift collection arose out of a design of the very first item: the dining table. The design was created in 2018 by the need for a simple aesthetic with an honest construction.By duplicating all elements, the table results in a solid and strong structure and has visually a certain finesse. The simple idea to split the pieces, divided into equal elements, creates an honest and visible construction that is self-supporting, with a nod to the Japanese design method. The metal details form an interesting tension and dialogue with the wooden and stone bodies, enriching the overall look and durability of the product. The dining table design is revised regarding the size and some details are enhanced to become a more balanced and pure design. Our new created Rift items share the same idea and origin as the initial dining table. Yet with some new design approaches and material applications.&nbsp;
