<h4 style="margin-left:0px;text-align:center;">FRENCH EDITION DESIGN LABEL</h4>13Desserts is a multidisciplinary label dedicated to the creation, production and promotion of design pieces., founded in 2019 by Clément ROUGELOT and Kevin DOLCI. It is a hybrid of a design label and a gallery, based between Paris and Hyères Les Palmiers in the South of France.&nbsp;They bring together a unique selection of designers specializing in traditional savoir-fair and working with high-quality materials and experienced artisans. Also showcasing the work of rising designers and established artists through exhibits and collections issued in small or limited editions since 2020. They all have a similar aesthetic: the French Riviera. Via collaborations with designers and artisans, their vision and practices push them to design and promote bold, innovative creations. 13Desserts strive to explore new avenues of production and respond to a need for sustainable consumption. They also place a high value to respect 100% French production.&nbsp;

A-N-D is a decorative luminaire design studio and manufacturer based in Vancouver, Canada where original collections are conceptualized, built and assembled in-house. &nbsp;A-N-D investigates new design possibilities using innovative production methods while integrating the most current technologies in lighting. The result of that exploration puts forward honest products that transcend time and place. <h3 style="text-align:center;">About the Co-founders</h3>&nbsp;LUKAS PEET&nbsp;Lukas Peet practices his craft with sophistication and fluidity that bears the mark of a Design Academy Eindhoven alumni. He has been recognized internationally in a number of awards and competitions, most notably for the Winner of Canada’s Emerging Designer Award. His designs have been produced by international manufacturers such as Roll &amp; Hill. To A-N-D, Lukas brings a vast curiosity about objects, processes, materials and production techniques; he brings a desire to challenge the familiar and the normative, and everything in between.Series for A-N-D: Button, Orbit, Pebble, Pivot, Slab, Spotlight Volumes, Column, Lobe&nbsp;CAINE HEINTZMAN&nbsp;Caine Heintzman is a designer exploring various mediums as he applies rigorous material research, technical know-how, and a comprehensive understanding of lighting technology to an artful practice. His training at ECUAD and Kunsthochschule Berlin Weissensee has allowed him to hone a methodical process in which he interrogates the relationship between functional art object and space to design in a way that accentuates the built environment. Where his craft is sculptural, emphasizing modularity, forms can be seen in repetition to demonstrate an industrial elegance signature to his approach.Series for A-N-D: Pipeline, Vale, Vine, Iris&nbsp;MATT DAVIS&nbsp;Matt Davis brings a clarity of vision and collaborative spirit that transforms the people and ideas around him. To A-N-D, he contributes over a decade of experience in senior business management in the realm of lighting. His passion for responsible, timeless design is paralleled by a strong sense of leadership and entrepreneurial acumen.&nbsp;

His collections have a basis in Molecular Biology, which bring the invisible world to the foreground, intending to build a spiritual bond. Cells and molecules, as well as Arabic writing and geometry, are among the themes explored. Javed's artwork places itself between practical and sculptural, emphasizing the form and natural state of the clay. All of the objects are handcrafted using pinch, coil, and slab techniques. Each object is painstakingly created with a range of clays to give each object life.

<h2 style="text-align:center;">AHU</h2>&nbsp;Based in London and Istanbul, female-founded design studio Ahu creates contemporary collectible furniture and objects inspired by the traditions and mysticism of Asia Minor. Each limited edition piece is hand made in Istanbul by master craftsmen in historic, specialised ateliers, blending the best local artisanship with innovative production technologies. Founded by longtime friends and Central Saint Martins alumni Eda Akaltun and Mevce Çıracı, their respective backgrounds in visual arts and product design are tied together in their ability to refine culture and craftsmanship to create pieces that tell a story. Their work combines unique marbling paintings made by hand with contemporary furniture design, which seamlessly merges utility and luxury.&nbsp;&nbsp;The duo create collections that imbue spaces with symbols of luck and talismans of good fortune. Each piece is a functional work of art, designed to showcase the room in which it is placed. The first collection is inspired by ikram, the Turkish tradition of offering guests boundless hospitality. The visual starting point for the whole collection is nazar, the evil eye, and comprises cabinets, coffee tables, side tables and objects. Ahu’s unique creations are made to order.&nbsp;

<h3 style="margin-left:0px;text-align:center;">Design Process</h3>&nbsp;Ahu combines 25 years of international experience in product design and visual arts to appreciate and honour the storied culture and traditions of its heritage, breathing new life into pieces that offer a contemporary view of what Turkish design can be. Istanbul’s rich history of craftsmanship is celebrated in each piece which is made in third generation small workshops scattered around the city. Eda and Mevce navigate this complex network and work within a language of artisanship that is not only relevant to the place of Ahu’s origin, but also respectful of the longevity of the pieces. Mixing traditional woodworking techniques, luxurious durable materials and modern finishes, they strive to make timeless and exquisite pieces that can become modern heirlooms.&nbsp;
