Andrea Forti and Eleonora Dal Farra, an experimental design duo, founded Alcarol, exploring the idea of blending avant-garde and creative techniques with the passed-down experience of raw materials processing. By using invisible or translucent substances to conserve natural materials in their original habitat while still making them functional, Alcarol designs are fascinatingly unique. Alcarol's artworks strive to capture some peculiar atmospheres of the magnificent lands, between the Venice Lagoon and the adjacent Dolomite Unesco World Heritage mountains, typically by freezing time at the end of the material's life cycle and thus giving it a new life.
