Carla Baz founded a Beirut-based studio where she collaborates with highly-skilled artisans to foster the link between the hand that draws and the hand that makes in the pursuit of a more engaged practice that reintroduces gesture back into the design process. They strive to modernize craft and create a unique product by transferring knowledge and redefining techniques. Carla Baz and her experienced craftsmen continually experiment with form, functionality and viability, as a result creating designs that are sculptural yet practical, ornate yet clean, bold yet subtle.
