Daniel Stegen

Daniel Stegen is a german product and interior designer. From 2016 to 2020, he attended the Detmold School of Architecture and Interior Design to study interior design. In 2017, Schmidt received a scholarship from the Federal Ministry of Education;  the following year, in 2018, he was awarded the Werkbund scholarship for academic accomplishments. During his studies, Daniel worked as a student assistant in the teaching areas of furniture design, colour & space and human sciences. He earned a Master of Arts in 2021 and was among the top students in his class. Schmidt launched the classic steel collection 1513 in 2022. He is currently working as a self-employed designer and artist.
