Estudio Persona

Estudio Persona, founded by the duo Emiliana Gonzalez and Jessie Young, is a design studio that embraces ever-evolving female Hispanic minimalism to bring timeless forms and furniture to life. Their collaborative process and Uruguayan origins give their furniture and object design a unique juxtaposition. The melancholy of their neutral and pure vision of Uruguay as more brutalist than the bright sun-soaked sky reflects in their design, which emphasizes natural forms, sculptural lines, and the absence of colour. 
Based in a spacious studio in downtown Los Angeles, they work with natural materials using varying approaches: leather meets wood forms, while steel and glass are bent to evoke softness.
