Hors Pistes, founded in 2013, facilitates international collaborations between artisans and designers. During a month-long residency, designers and craftspeople exchange and share their expertise and collaborate on a project. By offering new applications to traditional production methods, the resulting collaborations support the transfer of artisanal mastery while also questioning its heritage and future.

Hors Pistes also offers professionals the opportunity to engage in a multidisciplinary laboratory, where they can reflect on traditional production and cooperation rules by fostering new creative methods that emphasize human interaction. An editorial team follows the workshops by capturing the working atmosphere of the residence and living environment.
