Loïc Bard is a designer based in Montreal specializing in woodworking. His work is deeply personal, with each piece imbued with reminiscences of people and places. Bard's work begins with free sketches and impromptu shape carvings. The organic forms that evolve from this process and inform his designs are inspired by Japanese craftsmanship ideals and entrenched in the natural environs of his childhood.
