Middernacht & Alexander

Sofie Middernacht (BE, 1985) and Maarten Alexander (NL, 1990) are experts at striking the ideal balance between form and content. In 2016, they joined forces to develop an artistic partnership that enables them to work outside the confines of photography,  integrating consistently coherent content while adopting and adapting a varied spectrum of diverse materials. Their work is at the nexus of sculpture, photography, and spatial installation.
