Tim Teven

Tim Teven is a Dutch designer who graduated in 2018 from the Design Academy Eindhoven. His technical and material-driven approach to design combined with a hands-on attitude to work allows him to play and create experimentally. In most of the works, the production process is a tool to design and a driving factor in shaping the outcome and function of the object. By unconventionally treating materials to rethink the production process, Teven is able to discover surprising techniques, which can translate into a functional yet intriguing piece. He works from his Eindhoven-based design studio, which he started in 2018, and where all of his pieces are handcrafted using industrial craftsmanship.
