Donghyun Cho is a South Korean designer and metal craftsman. He founded OBJECT LEUCI in 2022 as a design and fabrication studio working with interior architects on custom solutions for various retail and commercial projects.
Alongside the studio’s establishment, he has pursued an independent artistic practice rooted in material research and structural clarity.
Working primarily with metal, Cho explores the continuity of form and material, moving beyond fixed definitions of craft and design. His approach emphasizes clarity of structure, functional completeness, and restraint. Rather than excess, his work seeks balance, objects that feel resolved, purposeful, and attentive to use.
Grounded in a belief that every form should occupy its precise place within a structure, Cho’s practice values thoughtful construction as both detail and expression. His works are defined by understated elegance, material honesty, and a restrained tension between structure and tactile experience.
