The Core Pendant Light is part of the Core collection. The Core collection features lamps made from tiny beads, much like our universe made up of the minutest particles, the atoms. It is an experiment to explore how small parts combined can form a larger shape. The process starts with single iron beads soldered together. Each bead allows the structure to grow further, like corals in the sea. A flame heats the iron beads wherever it comes into contact with them, and then the shape is created by the path of fire and brazing solder. The shape, size, and lightness or density of the structure are adjustable.
