A contemporary sculptural chair from the “Life on Mars” series. “Life on Mars” is an attempt at a design of chaos: design of dumpsters, scraps from workshops as much as a design of the wild and the living, a worker design, a design of craftsmen, a popular design, a design of improvisation, a design of lack, a design of non-availability, a design of serendipity?

The result is a conscious aesthetic composite that emerges from the unprecedented tensions of our time.Between brutality and sophistication, austerity and creative explosion, innovation and tradition, omissions and traces, fragility and poetry, humor and sobriety, joyful change and examination of conscience. Nature and artifacts.

All the pieces of the "Life on Mars" arc are improvised around a diagram, depending on the pieces available in the workshop or in its surroundings, without plans, leaving finely worked raw shapes to confront the curved shapes of salvaged parts. Where rich lacquered finishes juxtapose with raw, left surfaces.
