In tropical latitudes, the plant world manifests with exuberance through a great diversity of species and ecosystems. The cultures that inhabited our territory developed a close relationship with coastal wetland plants such as reed and totora, shaping cosmovisions and artisan techniques that became evident in ritual objects. Tejidos Vegetal N°12 (Vegetable Fabrics) explores the processes of growth and transformation of plant organisms and our connection with them. This work links the internal structures of plants with the manual processes of weaving, revealing the transformation of both fibers and traditions.
