EROSION is a tall, tapering sculptural vessel defined by a continuous spiral ridge that winds from base to neck, as if carved by the slow, patient force of wind or water over centuries. Unlike the shifting angular planes of MONOLITH, its form follows a single unbroken helix — narrow and pointed at the top, widening gradually toward a rounded base, evoking a shell, a horn, or a stone worn smooth by erosion.

The name EROSION reflects this sense of gradual transformation — an object that appears to have been shaped not by the hand, but by time itself, each ridge reading like a sedimentary layer or a growth ring. Its surface carries warm sandy and ochre tones interwoven with darker charcoal speckling, giving the impression of naturally occurring mineral deposits rather than applied colour. The ridged texture catches light differently along each turn of the spiral, deepening the sense of movement and continuous flow across the form.

Each piece is meticulously built by hand from a unique, sustainable composite of recycled paper pulp, natural cement, mineral pigments, and binders. Once fully dried and finished, the material behaves more like aged wood than cold stone — robust, surprisingly lightweight, slightly elastic, and highly resistant to splitting.

The irregularities of the surface are an integral part of the work. Variations in texture, colour and form are preserved rather than concealed, making every piece individually distinctive.
