From a combination of material experimentation and the need for a multifunctional stool, Daan de Wit designed a Stool with subtle details of beetle in 2017, finally breathing life into it in 2021. The Beetle stool is an ode to the wondrous creature that piqued the designer's fascination for nature. The three legs and seat are individually extracted from a stainless steel sheet, then folded, welded and polished. They are then heat-treated to extract the colour from the material.
