Stratum Saxum draws inspiration from the serenity and eternal silence of rock. This contemporary dining table is handcrafted using a technique devised by Daan de Wit, which requires little material and produces minimal waste. The hollow, conical, and organically shaped object is made by cutting sheet material into concentric layers and assembling them by hand.
