Andrea Grecucci is an independent contemporary designer, as well as a mid century design curator and collector with over 15 years of experience in industrial design and consumer electronics.
Based in Milan, Italy, his practice is informed by both technical expertise and a deep appreciation for design history. His contemporary works are physical manifestations of research and experimentation, where technique and heritage intersect with natural and man made elements. Through his process, Grecucci investigates the concept of duality, exploring contrasts such as past and present, precious and intuition and function and expression.
Drawing from his background in product design, his pieces often demonstrate a refined balance between engineering and aesthetics. At the same time, his role as a curator and collector informs a sensitivity to form, proportion and cultural context. This dual perspective allows him to reinterpret historical references through a contemporary lens. The result is a body of work that is both analytical and expressive, where objects exist not only as functional designs but also as reflections on material, process and time.
