Overview

Cultivation Objects was founded in 2020 by Nathaniel Wojtalik. The Brooklyn based studio often employs an unusual approach to materials, blurring the lines between what is natural and what is synthetic.

The studio emphasizes the use of byproducts diverted from the typical waste stream of fabrication and reconstituting them into new composites and materials, thus creating what is part of an ever expanding effort to develop a more sustainable, if not carbon positive, design practice.

Nathaniel Wojtalik is a New York based artist and designer who has gained international recognition. His work has been exhibited at prestigious institutions including Centre Pompidou, Berkeley Art Museum, Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art and the Coimbra Botanical Gardens in Portugal.
