Marc Dibeh is a Beirut based designer who creates captivating interiors and objects that reflect and narrate his cultural context.
At the core of his practice lies a strong emphasis on storytelling, combined with a pursuit of timelessness and modesty. His work exists in a space that feels grounded yet subtly otherworldly. Familiar, but capable of momentarily transporting the viewer beyond their immediate surroundings. Dibeh approaches design with wit and intellectual sharpness, developing concepts that are both thoughtful and emotionally resonant. His projects often explore materiality, narrative and spatial perception, resulting in pieces that balance conceptual depth with refined aesthetics. Whether through furniture or interiors, his work reflects a sensitivity to context, memory and the evolving identity of contemporary design in the Middle East.
Since beginning his career in 2009, Dibeh has been commissioned by several international galleries, including Galerie Bensimon (Paris), Seeds Gallery (London), Art Factum (Beirut), and Joy Mardini Gallery (Beirut). Following the presentation of his Wires series with Art Factum, he was named one of the five breakout stars of Design Miami (Miami edition) in 2013 by The Wall Street Journal, and one of the five up-and-coming designers at Design Miami/Basel in 2015 by Artsy. He was awarded the Generation Orient Prize in 2016 and the Rising Talents Award at Maison&Objet Paris in 2018.
