The SWOLLEN Series explores the moment when material transcends its conventional identity, transforming welded copper through water pressure into unpredictable sculptural forms. Balancing intention and improvisation, control and surrender, the process allows the material’s inherent properties to shape each work beyond the artist’s predetermined vision.
