FRAGMENT Ochre II is a sculptural art object whose bold architectural form evokes fractured geology rather than conventional ceramics. Taller and more commanding than FRAGMENT Ochre I, its elongated silhouette emphasizes vertical movement, creating a strong presence that transforms with changing light throughout the day. Its surface is a deliberate composition of contrasting materials and colors. Granite-like mineral textures meet deep volcanic black and warm raw ochre, while every sharply defined plane reflects light differently. From one angle it appears almost monolithic; from another, the contrasting surfaces reveal an entirely new composition.

Part of the FRAGMENT collection, Ochre II explores the meeting point between sculpture and functional object. While it can be displayed as a decorative vessel for dried branches or sculptural arrangements, its primary purpose is to exist as an architectural focal point within contemporary interiors.

Each piece is meticulously handcrafted from a unique sustainable composite made from recycled paper pulp, natural cement, mineral pigments, and binders. After drying and finishing, the material develops properties closer to aged wood than natural stone: lightweight yet durable, slightly flexible, resistant to cracking, and pleasantly warm to the touch. Imperfection is not hidden—it is an essential part of the design. Natural texture variations, subtle surface shifts, and organic irregularities are intentionally preserved, ensuring every FRAGMENT sculpture is genuinely one of a kind.
