Conceived as a contained silhouette, a presence, UMBRA unfolds in a dialogue between sensuality and structure, the crafted and the primal.
Each curve retains the trace of a gesture, like a seam hand-stitched into matter, a draped movement suspended between tension and release.
The artists imagined this texture like a hybrid cratered leather, where light glides and catches like on molten rock caught in stillness. Its grain was deliberately heightened, its sheen slightly exaggerated, so that the piece catches light with greater intensity, as if breathing through its own radiance.
