HADGE is an architecture and interior practice founded in 2020 by architect Dieter Vlieghe.
In 2015, Vlieghe graduated with a Master of Architecture at the KULeuven St.Lucas Ghent. He went on to collaborate with architects and designers, including Studio Prototype (NL) and Glenn Sestig (BE), before establishing his own practice.
The multidisciplinary studio focuses on illustration and architectural atmospheres exploring the world of furniture and object design. At the core of his work is the search for a balance between form and content. He strives to create purified atmospheres that engage people and draw them into a world of imagination and deeper emotional experience. A strong appreciation for tactile, raw materials, artisanal craftsmanship and a pursuit of timeless minimalism and brutalism define his approach. The result is a serene and pure, yet warm and authentic ambiance.
Currently, HADGE is engaged in high-end residential and art related projects. The studio develops objects that are intimate yet open, interacting with natural light and evolving throughout the day. Emphasis is placed on the inherent qualities of materials, with each design being unique and crafted by hand. Over time, materials develop their own patina, reflecting both the passage of time and the life of the user.
