Overview
Leo Lague is a Brazilian designer who reinterprets time, symbols and matter through a radical aesthetic approach.

His practice moves across history, semiotics, mythology and anthropology, exploring the tensions between opposites: time and space, the handmade and the industrial, the sacred and the secular, the real and the fictional. Growing up between the natural landscapes and power plants of southern Brazil, Lague experienced a world of contrasts at the turn of the millennium, a shift from analog to digital, shaped by emerging questions about the future.

Through design, he engages with a wide range of influences and materials, blending and reinterpreting them in what can be described as a form of postmodern archaeology. His work exists at the intersection of multiple disciplines, continuously pushing the boundaries between contrasting forces and narratives. In recent years, Lague has gained international recognition. Elle Decor Italia named him one of four rising talents in global design. He has exhibited Silver Dreams at Casa Masetti, showcased his work at Design Miami 2024 through the Alcova platform, participated in Ricardo Gaioso’s Pilot Project at Fuorisalone 2024, and was featured in the Forbes 2024 Under 30 list.
