Overview
Leo Lague is a Brazilian designer who reinterprets time, symbols, and matter in a radical aesthetic.

His practice transits between history, semiotics, mythology, and anthropology, tensioning limits between opposites: time and space, the manual and the industrial, the sacred and the secular, the real and the fictional.

Growing up between the natural landscapes and power plants of southern Brazil, Lague experienced a world of contrasts at the turn of the millennium—shifting from analog to digital, surrounded by emerging questions about the future. Through design, he explores a widerange of influences and materials.

His work blends and reinterprets time, symbols, and aesthetics, almost like a form ofpostmodern archaeology. It exists at the crossroads of history, semiotics, mythology, and anthropology, pushing the boundaries between opposites: time and space, the handmade and the industrial, the secular and the sacred, reality and fiction.

In recent years, Lague has gained international recognition. Elle Decor Italia named him one of the four rising talents in global design. He exhibited Silver Dreams at Casa Masetti, showcased his work at Design Miami 2024 through the Alcova platform, took part in Ricardo Gaioso’s Pilot Project at Fuorisalone 2024, and was featured in the Forbes 2024 Under 30list.
