Overview
Claymoon holds a fascination with the aesthetic and functional properties of clay, rooted in a long standing fascination with the material. This journey began when Adam Weismann and his wife Kate Bryce founded Clayworks in Cornwall, producing breathable clay plaster finishes from raw, natural materials.

Clayworks emerged from a shared passion for nature and a belief in natural and sustainable building practices. The duo travelled the world to study the vernacular traditions of working with clay, gaining insight into both the integrity and performance of the material. Along the way, they also discovered its powerful ability to shape how we experience the spaces we inhabit. This fascination continues through the work of Claymoon, where the focus expands into the objects that not only express the beauty of clay but also subtly influence the atmosphere of the environment in which they are placed. Through their presence, these works engage with space in a quiet and passive way, enhancing both sensory and spatial experiences.
