Cosmin Florea

Florea’s work is inspired by a reconnection with the timeless beauty of Transylvanian villages, their untold stories, the surrounding neutral landscapes, and the richness of their arts and crafts heritage. The sincerity of nature, the profundity of being, and the exploration of an immense sense of full potential define his entire body of artworks. 

A series of sculptural vases by Cosmin Florea draws on natural forms and the clean, sensuous lines characteristic of mid-century contemporary architecture and design. Each piece is handcrafted by Florea and designed to complement the home, whether holding minimal floral arrangements or standing alone as a decorative object. Fired at 1280 °C for lasting strength and beauty, each vase is glazed on the inside to ensure it is fully watertight.
