Overview
ERM Studio is a Mexican design studio that works with the limitations of process and materials in order to find, question, and explore the error, and through this study, generate proposals that are both aesthetic and functional.
Driven by curiosity, and the aim to build a creative community, ERM Studio combines new technologies with artisanal craftsmanship in all its designs.
The studio’s latest collection, “Materia Digital” represents a convergence between digital technology and material artistic expression, exploring the multiple scenarios of a possible geometric creation within a digital code.
This formal exploration stems from the application of basic functions of a parametric design program, aspiring to expand and complicate them in order to give life to intricate geometries imbued with an aesthetic that evokes organic engineering.
