ERM Studio is a Mexican design studio that works with the limitations of process and materials to identity, question and explore error, and through this investigation, generate proposals that are both aesthetic and functional.
Driven by curiosity and the aim of building a creative community, the studio combines new technologies with artisanal craftsmanship across all its designs. ERM Studio’s collection, Materia Digital, represents a convergence between digital technology and material expression, exploring multiple scenarios of geometric creation within a digital code. This formal exploration stems from the application of basic functions within a parametric design program, which are then expanded and complexified to generate intricate geometries. These forms are imbued with an aesthetic that evokes a sense of organic engineering, where precision and fluidity coexist.
