With its curvilinear split between dark cocoa brown and mild sandy desert tones, the idea behind the Diffusion Rug was to imitate any liquid substance glistening in the light, always in a perpetual diffusion and flux. The shape has a distinct polarity between the two prominent colours, illustrating a balancing act between different forces in a melodic nature-inspired design. Reminiscent of either soil or water in the dark, the Diffusion rug can diffuse into the interior with its suggestion of movement and flow.
