Neshka is a multidisciplinary artist and designer whose practice bridges fine art and object design.
She works across sculpture, painting, drawing, and product design, drawing inspiration from architecture, abstract art, and nature. Guided by simplicity and material quality, her work reflects an instinctive creative process that resonates with collectors.
With academic training in both design and fine arts, Neshka’s object-based practice challenges the distinction between fine art and everyday objects, which she considers outdated. As a result, her pieces are finely crafted yet intuitive, made to museum standards while still expressing the honesty and rawness of their materials.
Her most recent three-dimensional works are large-scale sculptures made from charred cedar wood. These pieces are created from driftwood collected along the west coast of Canada. Although minimalist in form, the sculptures are often described as having a powerful and thought-provoking presence.
