Rooms Studio specializes in hospitality, retail and residential projects, as well as collectible design. Founded in 2007 by Nata Janberidze and Keti Toloraia, the studio is rooted in a commitment to preserving traditional craftsmanship techniques unique to their region. The name “Rooms” reflects their approach to sculptural forms and the use of abundant, tactile, materials, often balanced with a strong sense of feminine intuition. Massive wood and stone elements are handcrafted using traditional methods to create raw, symbolic forms, frequently inspired by the designers’ childhood memories. Over the years, Rooms Studio has produced eight independent collections and collaborations, each embodying their ongoing exploration of forgotten or overlooked narratives. Through their work, Janberidze and Toloraia continue to investigate the boundaries between public and private space, creating objects and environments that feel both deeply personal and universally resonant.
