PARIS MAISON & OBJET IN THE CITY: Material and Matter in Dialogue
This January, BOON_ROOM will present Material and Matter in Dialogue, a curated exhibition bringing together multidisciplinary works by the gallery’s in-house artists and invited designers. Spanning over 700 m², the exhibition will explore the relationship between form, material, and craftsmanship, reflecting Boon Room’s curatorial vision.
The exhibition will feature Stefano Giacomello’s timeless furniture, A-N-D’s decorative luminaires, Leah Kaplan’s ceramics, Chidy Wayne’s abstract mixed-media paintings, and Fresh.Glass’ expressive metalwork, united by a shared commitment to material integrity and skilled execution. New works by A2 Studio, including a striking mirror, ERM Studio’s organically shaped aluminum pieces like the C Chair. Neshka’s sculptural works, created from salvaged elements of historical buildings, speak to sustainability and renewal, while Atelier Benjamin Foucaud and Sizar Alexis explore narrative tension, controlled randomness, and softened Brutalist forms.
BOON_ROOM will debut works by Taller Batán, a Mexico City–based studio led by Sebastián Cappiello, known for sculptural pieces crafted from reclaimed wood. Their approach echoes RF Studio’s exploration of the dialogue between modern habitats and the natural ecosytems.
Material and Matter in Dialogue will highlight the contrasts and affinities that emerge when diverse practices share a single space, reaffirming BOON_ROOM’s commitment to craftsmanship, creativity, and thoughtful curation.
BOON_ROOM will host an exclusive Vernissage on January 16th, from 18:00 to 21:00, welcoming design enthusiasts during Paris Design Week 2026, where each creation will tell a story of vision, craftsmanship, and timeless design.
